In light of recent economic times, Supply Brothers, an Online Office Supply Retailer, announces its commitment to the American people. Starting November 4 till December 19, they will donate $1 for every order placed to a national food bank serving all 50 states.

“Recent economic times have not only been tough, they have been life changing for many Americans,” says Aaron Gerard, CEO.

For every order placed from November 4 through December 19, Supply Brothers will donate $1 to The Feeding of America Network (formerly known as America’s Second Harvest). Only $1 is needed to provide 16 meals for families in need!

The Feed America Network provides emergency food assistance to more than 25 million Americans facing hunger every year.

As the company strongly believes in supporting people in distress. They especially recognize the need to contribute, even as they face tough times themselves.

“As a small business, we are facing our own challenges in this very difficult climate. We have seen large price increases from our manufacturers over the past 2 years. Our company has not raised prices on our office supplies. This has been very difficult for us. However, we are still committed to our customers and our pledge to helping where we can. That is why we are creating this donation program,” says Gerard.

According to a recent NY Times article, “Food banks around the country are reporting critical shortages that have forced them to ration supplies, distribute staples usually reserved for disaster relief, and in some instances close.”

“We are happy to do what we can,” says Gerard.
